TaiwanIHA joins with AMDA to offer free dental clinic in India (October 2015)

From October 1 to 7, Taiwan International Health Action (TaiwanIHA) cooperated with the Association of Medical Doctors of Asia to conduct free dental clinics and dental education programs in Bodhgaya, India.
The Taiwan medical mission team included personnel from the Taiwan Dental Association and Shuang Ho Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The team worked with Gaya Rotary and Rotaract clubs and the president of the Bodhgaya Lions Club. Children, pregnant women and elders received treatments that included tooth filling, tooth scaling and fluoride varnishing, with a total of 150 cases treated. Dental education programs were also provided to schools and orphanages in Mastipur village.
