Dental care provided by Taiwan IHA and AMDA in Sri Lanka (Dec, 2014)

December 2nd to 7th, 2014, the Ministry of Health and Welfare together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, cooperated with Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital, AMDA and Badulla Hospital in Sri Lanka to provide dental care in Badulla area. Besides treatments for around 200 students including ultrasonic scaling, tooth filling and fluoride varnishing, the demonstration of maintaining oral hygiene was also carried out during the program. We also contributed dental cleaning kits, mobile dental units and other medical supplies after the program.
